You need the full outfit: a jeogori (jacket) with a hanbok skirt or trousers. A jeogori with jeans, or a T-shirt-style “hanbok”, doesn’t count. If you’re renting, ask the shop for a full outfit.

Discount passes
These attraction passes save money only if you’ll visit several paid sights in a short time:
| Pass | Options and prices | Extras |
|---|---|---|
| Discover Seoul Pass | Pick 3 ₩49,000; 72 hours ₩90,000; 120 hours ₩130,000 | Comes with a free 5-day eSIM or a T-money card |
| Visit Busan Pass | 24h, 48h, Big 3 or Big 5 (check prices on the official site) | The physical card works as a transit card |
Add up the entry fees you’d pay anyway before buying. For transit, a plain T-money card is usually enough. See transit cards compared.
Don’t forget the tax refund
Shopping? You can get part of the 10% VAT back on purchases of ₩15,000 or more. See money in Korea, or estimate your refund with the tax refund calculator.
