Affiliate disclosure
CityFluent is free to read and use. To keep it that way, we may earn money in two ways: from advertising, and from affiliate links. This page explains both, and how we make sure neither one changes what we recommend.
Affiliate links
Some links on CityFluent may be affiliate links, for example to hotel, tour, eSIM or travel insurance providers. If you book or buy through one, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same as if you went to the provider directly.
Every page that contains affiliate links says so in a notice near the top, before any of those links appear.
How we choose what to recommend
- We compare options on price, convenience and reliability first, and only then look at whether a partner link exists.
- If the best option for travellers has no affiliate programme, we still recommend it.
- We include the downsides of the things we recommend, not just the selling points.
- Our visitor discounts page and our safety and emergency pages never contain affiliate links.
- Partners can't pay to change our wording, rankings or ratings.
Advertising
We may show ads from Google AdSense. Ads are labelled "Advertisement" and kept separate from our own content. We don't place ads on top of the Travel Kit helpers, where they could get in the way or be clicked by accident. You can read how advertising cookies work, and how to opt out of personalised ads, in our privacy policy.
Questions
